Who taught you how to cook?

View 500 Answers

Uh yeah, at first I always watched my mom, then I wanted to help her a little. but i worked out the whole rest myself.
I like to experiment a little, and as I'm quite careful with that I never managed to create something uneatable so far. I'm proud! ;)
especially the sauces are always a little bit different. and as I love noodles I constantly create new sauces, but I already managed some casseroles others asked me for. that was really funny.
I don't always like to cook, but when I want to I do want to do it all on my own. I can become pretty angry when someone thinks he might be able to do something better than me (when I came up with the idea).
but okay, I mostly have fun though =)

What inspires you to create?

View 178 Answers

well, I guess it's just the same as with most other people. when I have to deal with strong emotions or have to get over something that seriously bothers me I become far more creative.
In my opinion emotions are just exactly what makes you creative.
you want to express your feelings, your mood, so you start drawing or writing or singing... there are so many ways to be creative.
maybe you even want to share what you are feeling. that's especially the case when you're happy and in a good mood.
personally I am rather creative when I have to deal with bad emotions, like fear, anger, jealousy, sadness and all the others that there are.
that's maybe the case because I love the colour black, and black is more suitable for bad emotions... ;)

What's the best concert you've ever been to?

View 229 Answers

so far I haven't been to many concerts. it actually were only two. but that's just in case you count a three days festival as one concert.

Said festival was 2007s Rock im Park. And there were lots of awesome concerts. I can't put a finger on one single performance and say "that one was the best", as there were many.

But I guess I could narrow them down on just a few. and the best acts were: Beatsteaks, Billy Talent, Die Ärzte, Kaiser Chiefs, Linkin Park, Paramore, The Hives.
The Beatsteaks just made it awesome, they made the crowd just party, and their singer was one of the few who went down and got in contact with the fans.
The show of Billy Talent was so full of sparkling energy.
Die Ärzte were quite funny, and the setup was really impressing.
Ricky of the Kaiser Chiefs also went down to the crowd, and the security guards were busy with holding him back from being pulled into the crowd. They made me litterally feel the music, just wow!!
Linkin Park was just... I'm still speecless as it was that great. I love them, and their performance was really great, even though they managed to come on stage pretty late.
Hayley Williams was really impressing. I didn't know Paramore at that time, but they came on stage and she was just like "hey, were paramore. you probably won't know us, but I hope you'll still party with us". and she spread such an energy, quite impressing woman! and at that concert it happened that I became fan of paramore.
Well, and the Hives brought movement to the crowd. luckily I was at the back end of the wave-breaker, so I had enough space to dance and have fun...

on the first day I hoped to be able to switch between the stages so I can see all my favourite bands, but then we just happened to be stuck at the front, and then we only got out  after good charlotte as the following two bands were some we weren't that interested into. and the second and third day we came early enough to get into the wave-breakers at the very front, and once you're in you won't go out when you know you can be there for the really huge bands.
okay, originally I wanted to go and see my chem. I wasn't that much of a fan of theirs at that time, so I soon forgot about it when there were all those other awesome concerts. but I just looked up the bands that were there last year, and I rediscovered that they were there, and now I'm sad. okay, I wouldn't want to have missed lp by any chance, but I'm not a big muse fan (it's okay if you like them) and i could've seen my chem... that's what I'm thinking now... they just played at the right time, just between some other really great ones.

maybe, if I get lucky I'm gonna see them some time (soon, if it's up to my opinion)

but all in all I still become ecstatic when I think about RiP.
nah, that's okay for now, I rambeled about it long enough ;)

I just discovered that every new entry I wrote on the question of the day just became longer and longer.
But I'm going to disturb this tendency. This isn't even on the question of the day, so I'd be proud. *smirk*
I'm already afraid that as soon as I find a topic worth writing or bitching about will be reeeeeeeally long. I kind of become damn talkative from time to time, and as my friends don't let me grab the line I have to satisfy this need on the net. ;)
So far I doubt that anyone's even gonna read this shit I'm rambling about...

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, which one would it be (and why)?

View 280 Answers

oh god, that's quite a difficult question, there are so many albums I love to listen to...

uh, for now I'd probably choose "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge" by My Chemical Romance because for now it contains most of the songs I love to listen to at the moment. And there are songs matching aggressive moods as well as being sad.

I guess there's no particular reason linking me to this album, unlike e.g. I managed to touch Jared Leto during the 30stm concert at 07's Rock im Park. I didn't even see MCR performing so far. But still I feel a strong connection to their songs...

But okay, if you asked me this question again in, let's say, half a year, and I'm not sure anymore if I'd still choose this album. Most likely I wouldn't do that. I tend to constantly find new bands worth listening to, and well, it mostly depends on what album I bought or got last.

Look around. Describe the first photograph you see. What does it mean to you?

Well, it's my dad holding my brother's hand and me trying to climb up the sands of the dune of pyla in france. it's a sunny day, and in the background you see the woods where our camping site used to be.
This picture reminds me of a really happy time. I really loved this holiday. We all were really happy together, we didn't have to deal with a lot of those problems we have to face now. besides, it was a time when we went on vacation with our parents still. so far we spend the holidays on our own, and one of the two trips was great, the other one was really yuck.

it was so funny creating the frame... we collected shells from the beach and glued them on cardboard...
yeah, I really love this picture

Do you like being behind the camera or in front of the camera?

View 188 Answers

well, both situations have their charms. behind you can capture the situations you rate worth saving, well, and in front of it you can look at the pictures later on and remember the fun you had. just posing for eternities isn't so much fun.
but I'd rather being behind the camera for various reasons (most importantly: I look yuck on most pics of me >.< )
